Ocean Colour Scene’s rip-roaring live shows have long been one of the most extraordinary sights in modern rock - communal outpourings of hope and joy which boast the most life-affirming sing-a-longs you’ll ever hear.

OCS remain one of the most successful -and most loved- bands of the modern era. Having spent six years fine-tuning their sound, they lit up the Britpop party, chalking up three Top 5 albums- 1996’s Moseley Shoals, 1997’s Marchin’ Already and 1999’s One From The Modern and a run of nine successive Top 20 single’s including the immortal ‘The Riverboat Song’ (in total they have seventeen Top 40 singles and six Top Ten singles).

FAQs.

  • Yes! Tickets are expected to sell out so booking in advance is highly recommended. Tickets will also increase in price so the earlier you book, the less you pay!

  • Delapré Abbey, London Road, Northampton, NN4 8AW

    Please note this is an open air concert, so dress accordingly.

  • By car:

    A 6-minute drive from Junction 15 of the M1. The postcode for Delapré Abbey is NN4 8AW, however some satnavs do not read this address correctly so please check before you travel.

    There will be paid parking available on site, which must be booked in advance. You can do this when purchasing your tickets, or add on at a later date via the ticket provider’s customer portal.

    There are also plenty of public transport options.

    By bus:

    There is a bus stop at the entrance to Delapré Abbey on London Road (A508) with various routes stopping regularly including 7, 33, 88, X6 and X7. For timetables, visit Stagecoach Midlands.

    By train:

    Northampton Railway Station is only a 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive away. Trains arrive from London Euston and Birmingham New Street at least once an hour and there are taxi points directly outside the station.

    If you plan to travel by taxi, we recommend booking one in advance.

  • Food and drink is not permitted into the event. There will be a variety of bars and food available to purchase onsite.

    Sealed and full water bottles, no more than 500ml, are permitted. Empty water bottles are also permitted and can be filled at water filling stations around the site.
